I call this series my downtown series. It began because I had wanted to move back to the city but found that I could no longer afford to buy or rent there. I was heartbroken and so I decided to create my own city. Even though I live in a small town now, I was still able to re-create a city using my photos of the local buildings. Creating this series has helped me adjust to living in a small town and I am less homesick for my city.
